Debbie’s affinity for creative art began as a child when she would most likely be found with a crayon or pencil drawing the world around her. Growing up in both the Welsh and Cheshire countryside, her love of nature has shone through and has been her focus throughout her artistic career.

After studying for a degree in printed and woven textiles, Debbie has returned to her first passion of painting. This has lead to collaborations with a number of high profile brands including being the illustrator for The Hummingbird Bakery’s first cookbook.

Debbie’s artistic style remains centred around nature as can be seen in her floral artwork and her bovine portraits. Her particular love of dogs has led her to specialise in the painting of dog portraits by commission and the positive response has resulted in painting all manner of animals by request.

More recently Debbie’s artwork has been used by set designers on well known television shows and her work recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society and Country Living Magazine UK. For the past three years she has been showcasing at RHS Tatton Flower Show.

Debbie can regularly be found at artisan markets in and around Cheshire exhibiting and selling her artwork.
